Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Lovable… AI generators are coming at me from all directions. Just like the anti-AI crowd and the AI professionals who are practically fighting each other online. I’m convinced this is a wave that can’t be stopped. So the saying definitely applies here: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

So every now and then, I tried a few things with ChatGPT. Mostly the obvious one: “check this text for spelling errors.” Because when you work fast, it’s easy to miss things. But beyond that, I didn’t really go any further. Until my daughter comes home: “Mom, Claude is my hero. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!”

By then, I knew enough to understand that Claude wasn’t her new boyfriend, but I was curious what made it so amazing. My sweet, overenthusiastic ADHD girl went completely all-in on her new project.
When she went home and things quieted down again, I thought, “Okay… let me give it a try, too.”

As you might have noticed, I’ve started batching my blog posts and scheduling them with Buffer. Wonderful. Writing everything in one morning and then not having to think about it for two weeks.
Okay, amazing Claude… give me ten new topics to write about. Claude reads my website, LinkedIn, and Instagram, then comes back with a watered-down version of what I’ve already written.

I was so disappointed.
But then again… what did I really expect? Between him and I, I’m the creative one.

As a writer, creating your own work is still the most enjoyable part. So I’ll just keep writing and designing everything myself. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
