I’m a lurker.
I scan through the socials but rarely respond. If I didn’t have a business, I’d probably be completely off social media. But I do have a business… so here I am, being invisibly visible.
On Facebook, I read in the illustrator & author groups that lots of people are being scammed out of their money. Authors pay up front and never hear back.
Hybrid Publishers take money but don’t deliver on the promises of high sales.
So every now and then, I speak up:
Be smart when you find somebody you want to work with and start with a Zoom call.
Do your research. Trust, but not blindly.
That’s also why my website shows my work, my background, my story.
This is me. This is what I do.
