Mandy contacted me after visiting my website and reading all the wonderful reviews. She had an idea for a children’s book and wanted to know if it was good enough to publish.
So I visited her and while we were both sipping our tea, she showed me her ideas. Her ABC stories were really funny and creative! Since she didn’t have the budget for an illustrator but loved my work, she asked if I could color her sketches.
The book was far too much fun to pass up, so we found a way: she submitted her sketches, and I turned them into full-color illustrations. It turned out to be a bigger job than either of us had anticipated, so when we finally reached Z, we both breathed a sigh of relief.
The book is now at the printer and will soon be available both online and in local bookstores.
