What is the process from concept to final product?
I always start with an introductory meeting. You can tell me all about your project, what you have in mind, and ask questions about how I can help. I then outline everything in a briefing along with a quote. Once the quote is approved, I receive the necessary information to get started. Depending on the project, I start by creating a concept or sketch. Based on your feedback, I then develop the final design in print or digital formats.
How many revisions are included in an assignment?
Usually 2–3 revision rounds are included; additional adjustments are of course negotiable.
What file formats do you supply?
I can supply any common format: PDF, AI, EPS, JPG, PNG and, if desired, print-ready files.
Can I send the files directly to the printer?
Yes, I ensure that the files are suitable for printing and meet the required specifications.
Do you also provide printing guidance or advice?
Yes, I work with printers, but I can also consult directly with your chosen printer.
When do I have to pay and do you accept payment in installments?
Depending on the project, an invoice is always sent after completion. Only for larger projects, such as illustrating a children's book, do I send partial invoices.
We can, of course, also agree on partial installments.
What sets you apart from other designers and illustrators?
You'll always have direct contact with me (Mireille). I have both design and technical expertise, so you essentially only need one point of contact.
Do you also work for English-speaking or international clients?
Yes, I help both Dutch and international clients.
How do I pay you?
International clients can pay either in Dollars or Euro's through bank transfer, WISE, Zelle or Paypal.
